The hotel is located in a convenient area, situated close to shopping centres and supermarkets. For those on a limited budget, it offers a great location near the city center and French Concession. the rooms are spacious and breakfast is adequate. the hotel offers a laundry service which could be useful.
Some reviews indicate that the hotel suffers from a smoky smell throughout, even in non-smoking rooms.

Good location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ability to use the TV as a computer was advantageous becuause the ethernet connection was unreliable. Active nightlife in the area and easy to get to the main shopping areas
I stayed in an Executive Suite. The Happy hour in the Lonuge was a bit of a misnomer. Only cans of soft drinks and a few sparse snacks available, A Happy Hour without alcohol? Why is it Happy!?

We loved the hotel's location near the city center and close to everything. It was just a short walk to the next intersection and the subway station was nearby, making transportation a breeze. The cleanliness was impressive, and the hotel facilities were great considering our limited budget. The breakfast was also a highlight, providing a variety of options. The staff were helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
For us, it was ideal.

Location is fantastic... Right in the middle of a great part of the city
The "spa" is not a spa at all, but a place for men only. It's completely overpriced and merely a massage centre for lonely business men to enjoy female company. Quite disappointing realisation when all I wanted was a quick sauna and was harassed constantly for other "services" . Be warned!

The staff were extremely helpful with the taxis and giving directions as we dont speak any chinese or knew where we to go, many thanks you made our trip a lot less stressful!
The deposit, as we booked in a rush we didn't know about this and was a bit of a shock when we arrived, felt this was a bit of a hassle and unecessary when they already had my credit card details. Also the unexpected service charge, although small we felt a bit cheated

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel in Shanghai and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The location of this hotel is perfect, situated in a busy district with easy access to everything. Plus, it's just across from the biggest hospital in the city, which is a huge convenience. The service here is top-notch, with 24-hour room service and a helpful staff who made my stay even more enjoyable. The room amenities were excellent, with air conditioning, a mini-bar, and an in-room safe for added comfort and security. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Shanghai.

Great Food and Ideal Location
During my business trip, I had a pleasant stay at a hotel with great food. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious and diverse, catering to both Asian and Western tastes. the hotel was located in a prime spot, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. This made it convenient for me to explore the area during my free time.
There were some negative aspects to my stay. The decor of the room was outdated, and the furniture and carpets showed significant signs of wear and tear.

The hotel's location was convenient for my business trip, as it was close to the subway and had many small shops nearby. the cleanliness of the room was also fine, and the laundry service was cheap and excellent.
The reception staff were unpleasant, and there was a lack of English language support available, which made things difficult. the internet was slow and check-in took a long time.
